Forty-eight players attended the Inaugural 1 day Phoenix Amputee Open for a 7:30 am shot gun start. Amputees and normies were paired for the competition.

The following amputees walked away with the First Place Trophies using a Net score:

BK Johnny Loya 66 Championship Flight
BK Ross Martin 64 First Flight
DBL/Multiple Ray Morgan 72
BK-women Shirley King 67
Normie Roger Walter 61 First Flight
Normie Kathryn Gunther 61 Second Flight

Ray Morgan used a SoloRider provided by the City of Phoenix and will also be the featured photo on their June Events Calendar.
The local NBC television affiliate ran a feature on the tournament Friday afternoon. Many players were also interviewed and photographed by The Arizona Republic for a feature article to be published soon.
Several amputees that were unable to participate in the tournament stopped by for lunch and fellowship.
