Under the beautiful, majestic Mt Rainier 83 golfers took part in Ed Wilson’s Annual Amputee Tournament, July 27th & 28th at the Riverbend Golf Complex in Kent, Washington. Australian Woody Walker came the farthest along with golfers from California, Canada, Oregon and Arizona to name a few.

The first day dawned with sunshine and enthusiasm with all the golfers and of course Ed and his host of volunteers were there to take care of all the golfers needs. The course was in excellent shape and once all the golfers completed their rounds, there was Ed and his staff providing a dynamite meal of barbeque burgers and dogs with all the trimmings.
The next day dawned overcast but as we all know, a little weather will not get in the way of these amputees. And there was Ed and his people once again to take care of everybody. On the close of the second round, Ed had a raffle with more prizes than seen at most touneys. After that, the champs were named and are listed below.
Once again, Ed put on a very successful tournament and I encourage you to participate in it in 2014. After all, there is “No Mountain High Enough” to stop amps!!
