Western Amputee Golf Association Goodwill Ambassador Amy Bockerstette won multiple flights leading a strong WAGA showing at Sea Island, Georgia. The 6th annual Georgia Adaptive Open was held at the beautiful Sea Island Golf Club - Retreat Course, September 18th through 20th.
Arizona resident, Bockersette took home championships in the Women’s gross, net, and intellectual impairment categories. Amy finished 8th overall against a field of 56 players, both men and women.
Taking home the championship in both the Men’s multiple limb and double leg amputee classifications, was WAGA Board of Directors member and California resident Tim Healea.
Winning the championship in the Men’s co-ordination impairment category was Jarrett Fultz, an Arizona resident.
Fellow Arizonan, Justin Miller won the seated division championship.
